Gender and Adaptation in the Global South

Curated Collections

Recent climate change-related events across the world and their impacts on poorer and marginalized communities have given a new impetus to the issue of climate justice. Gender rights activists, researchers and practitioners have emphasized that there is no climate justice without gender justice, as they are intrinsically related. This Collection brings together research and commentary that shines a light on work towards achieving gender-just, climate-resilient development pathways for the Global South, including successes and ongoing challenges.
