GLBIO/CCBC 2016 – Bioinformatics and Computational Biology

Partnered Collections

The first joint Great Lakes Bioinformatics (GLBio) and the Canadian Computational Biology Conference 2016 (GLBIO/CCBC) took place in Toronto from May 16th to 19th. The conference was organized by the Great Lakes Bioinformatics Consortium to provide an interdisciplinary forum for the discussion of research findings and methods. An important goal for the conference was to foster long term collaborative relationships and networking opportunities within the domain of computational approaches to biology. A call for submissions on a wide range of topics was made and those full length papers that are accepted by the conference committee were invited to submit to this PLOS Collection.
