PLOS is a non-profit organization on a mission to drive open science forward with measurable, meaningful change in research publishing, policy, and practice.

Building on a strong legacy of pioneering innovation, PLOS continues to be a catalyst, reimagining models to meet open science principles, removing barriers and promoting inclusion in knowledge creation and sharing, and publishing research outputs that enable everyone to learn from, reuse and build upon scientific knowledge.

We believe in a better future where science is open to all, for all.

PLOS Clinical Trials – Archive

Curated Collections

Launched in May 2006 and devoted to publishing the results of all correctly conducted and reported clinical trials irrespective of outcome, PLOS Clinical Trials was merged in August 2007 with PLOS ONE. All published PLOS Clinical Trials articles are included in the collection and remain archived in PubMed Central and indexed by PubMed. PLOS Clinical Trials is closed to new submissions; authors are encouraged to submit their work to other PLOS journals for which their paper is in scope, in particular PLOS ONE, which has a parallel editorial mission—to accelerate discovery by publishing all scientifically rigorous research.
