Rewilding and Restoration

Calls for Papers Collections

As environmental pressures intensify and efforts to restore and rewild expand, there is an urgent need for a rigorous and relevant scientific evidence base to inform practical decisions and policy-making.

This Collection brings together research articles that explore the design, implementation, management, and outcomes of restoration and rewilding projects in terrestrial, freshwater, marine, and urban ecosystems that use a range of methodological approaches. It also includes interdisciplinary papers that integrate social and natural science approaches to understand, improve, and scale up restoration and rewilding in the coming UN Decade on Ecosystem Restoration.
