Stem Cell Plasticity in Tissue Repair and Regeneration

Calls for Papers Collections

Stem cells bring hope to revolutionize biomedical fields given their potential to give rise to any cell type in the body. The papers included in this collection reflect the interdisciplinary nature of current stem cell research, covering basic, translational and clinical studies. The research highlighted here also shows how the dynamic functions of stem cells can be harnessed to regenerate damaged or lost tissues, which is particularly important for diseases where no established treatments exist.
