Watersheds and Health
This collection brings together a range of Research Articles and Opinions focused on the topic of “Watersheds and Health” to profile contemporary efforts focused on integrated watershed management and governance as they relate to health of humans, other species, and ecosystems. The collection contributes to growing efforts to understand how human activities within watersheds influence water-related diseases, water security and ecosystem attributes for food, cultural practice, livelihoods, and lifestyles. It underscores the co-benefits available when integrative approaches to watersheds address overlapping health, ecological and societal priorities.
